Meurs Navigator is a web application that allows you to transform a large set of data into an interactive map that can be zoomed, browsed and searched. The map has an intuitive layout that preserves the original relations between the data items - including hierarchies, which are nicely revealed when zooming.
The engine of the application is based on research involving force-based layouts, graph modularization, metrics and minimization problems, tree maps, and drawing optimization techniques.
